Marvel’s Doctor Strange embarks on another adventure in the Multiverse of Madness. Doctor Strange casts a spell that opens up the multiverse and faces a new adversary that may be too big for him to handle.
Director Sam Raimi uses his elements of horror in the film, which has been quite controversial among parents of young viewers. Nonetheless, the movie brought in a total of $677.7 million compared to the $200 million budget.
As the Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding, they are making room for bigger and better blockbuster movies. However, the release of the new movie has mixed reviews.
The sequel for Doctor Strange had incredible visual effects, as the first movie presented. visuals and the lengthy action scenes were clearly the main focus of the movie. The movie lacked a consistent and intriguing plot. Similarly to Spider-Man: No Way Home, it was a movie to keep the fans interested in the cinematic universe with just fan service. Not to mention, there were plot holes. Overall, I would rate this movie a 6 out of 10 stars.

IGN said, “Multiverse of Madness is worth the price of admission just to hear the score.”
Vulture explains that “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness feels like a bridge to further stories rather than a work that stands on its own.”
Critics say that Doctor Strange’s character was overshadowed by his supporting cast, there was no further development for him. Elizabeth Olsen’s performance as Wanda Maximoff was outstanding and worth the watch. But the film relied on the premise of Disney’s WandaVision to make sense of the plot, which is only available on Disney Plus for $7.99 a month. This makes the movie harder for casual Marvel fans to enjoy and understand it.
IMDb rates the movie a 7.4 out of 10 while Rotten Tomatoes gave the movie a 74 percent. Based on all of the reviews and criticisms, the movie has its quirks but there could have been more. Personally, this movie served as a transition into the possibilities of the multiverse in Marvel and it fulfilled its purpose.
