If you’ve ever heard anything about thrift shopping in New York, it’s more than likely you’ve seen the #LTrainVintage tag on social media. L Train Vintage is a chain of thrift stores with various locations around the city, each conveniently accessible through the L subway line. While these shops are all part of a chain, visits to each result in different experiences. I decided to visit those located in Manhattan, though there are other shops in Brooklyn. After paying visits to each store, No Relation Vintage was definitely the one worth going to.
No Relation Vintage is located at 204 1st Avenue in the East Village. The variety in this store is endless, with windbreakers, jeans, flannel shirts and other kinds of clothes to choose from. To my surprise, the prices at No Relation were much more reasonable, in other words cheaper, than those at the other locations. What else made this store stand out? There’s two floors, both with comfortable space and lots of selections. There are racks upon racks of clothing at low prices. If you haven’t gone thrift shopping yet, No Relation Vintage is a highly recommended place to start.
